24K Gold Buddha Shakyamuni Statue For Buddhism Practice
The 24K Gold Buddha Shakyamuni Statue, seated in meditation, was entirely hand-carved in Nepal using traditional Himalayan art. The statue's body was made of pure copper, then gilded with 24-karat genuine gold. The deity is depicted sitting cross-legged on a lotus moon disc with a serene countenance. The earth goddess is called to witness the moment of enlightenment, and his right hand barely touches the ground. His left hand is shown holding an alms bowl over the lap, representing the 49 pieces of rice he was given before enlightenment while meditating. It took us months to hand-carving intricate design patterns into the statue. To highlight the facial attributes of the deity, we used acrylic paints.
This Buddha Statue will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
