Bodhisattva Manjushri, Deity Of Wisdom Statue
This statue shows Bodhisattva Manjushri, also the deity of wisdom, magnificently. This statue is handcrafted in Kathmandu by a Nepali artist in copper and gilded in 24K Gold. Manjushri, with a double-edged flaming sword in his right hand and a lotus blossom with a Prajnaparamita sutra verse. With its bright rays coming from it, this sword depicts the sharpness of wisdom. Manjushri also teaches the Dharma without favor or fear. The statue is magnificently made with every traditional detail. Behind his halo are the flora details with other deities with their attributes. The throne is made with very exquisite details.

In Buddhism, Manjushri is a Bodhisattva. He is known as the Wisdom Buddha. In Sanskrit, his name means "Gentle Glory." We Tibetans refer to him as Jamphel Yang. He is the embodiment of Prajna Wisdom. As a result, he frequently appears in Prajna classics. Many legends claim that he is the master of seven Buddhas and all of Buddha's mothers. Prajna Wisdom is supposed to be the teacher and mother of all buddhas. According to the Lord Buddha, Manjushri was his teacher in a previous incarnation.
