Traditionally Gold Gilded Shakyamuni Buddha Face Statue
Our workshop produced this magnificent Shakyamuni Buddha Face Statue. We have depicted the deity with a contented facial expression, seated on a lotus seat. He is portrayed doing the witness gesture Bhumispara Mudra with his right hand outstretched to the ground while holding an alms bowl with his left hand, facing up and placing it on his lap. To mold the figurine we used a copper body onto which we hand-carved intricate design patterns. We gilded the deity using genuine 24K gold. To highlight the facial attributes of the deity we used acrylic paintings.
We have used materials of the highest quality to craft the statue. We assure you that this piece of art will last for many years.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain in life. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
