Traditionally Hand-Carved Shakyamuni Buddha Meditations Practice Statue
We are the Kathmandu Valley artists who meticulously created the original Buddha sculpture in traditional Himalayan art. An oxidized copper body is used to form the body. The delicate workmanship and traditional symbolism on this statue are true. The deity's facial expression has been highlighted using acrylic paint to give it a remarkable appearance. We have depicted the god in the statue with a calm look, lounging on a moon-disc lotus seat and wearing exquisitely hand-carved Kasaya robes. His left-hand holds an alms bowl, while his right hand is lightly resting on the ground. Silver plating is used on the lotus, robe, and body decorations. The statue has a beautiful polish as a result.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
