Oxidized Copper Body Artwork Of Copper Buddha Shakyamuni
We are the artists from the Kathmandu Valley who used traditional Himalayan art techniques to creatively craft the Copper Buddha Shakyamuni Statue. It is a unique piece of art. The figure's body is composed of oxidized copper. Beautiful designs on the kasaya robe were artistically hand-carved. The face of the Buddha was gilded with genuine 24K gold. In this figurine, the deity is shown portrayed on a moon disc lotus with his legs crossed and a contented look on his face. He holds an alms bowl in his left hand and, with his right hand, performs the earth-touching mudra as a representation of his attainment of enlightenment.
This Buddha Shakyamuni Statue will be a perfect gift for a practitioner like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
