Hand-crafted Gautama Buddha Statue of Nepal
The Gautama Buddha (Shakyamuni Buddha) Statue was hand-carved in Nepal using traditional Himalayan techniques. We depicted him meditating while perched on a moon disc lotus seat in this Buddhist sculpture. The hand-crafted intricate design has been expertly wrapped around the robe from arm to the knee. This artwork can be used for daily meditational exercises and interior house decoration in many Vajrayana practices. It took months to sculpt, design, and carve the lotus seat, robe, and other necessities in the manner of the ancients. All of the hand carvings was done with a hammer and chisels.
This Buddha statue has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
