This Manjushri, Bodhisattva of Wisdom statue is carved out of copper, gilded in pure gold, and highlighted with acrylic colors and precious gems. The bodhisattva is depicted seated atop a moon disc lotus seat with a tender expression with two pairs of hands. He wields a flaming sword representing his ability to cut through negativity and ignorance, and carries around a bow and arrow. He performs the 'VItraka Mudra,' indicating the transmission of the teaching of Buddha.
