We, the master artisans from the Kathmandu Valley, meticulously created the Gold Buddha Monastery Statue in the form of traditional Himalayan Art. The statue shows the Historical Buddha seated on a moon disc lotus seat with a calm and contented look. The statue's body is made of copper. We have hand-carved intricate design patterns using a hammer and chisels. To do delicate carvings, artists must have decades of experience as he has to create intricate design patterns on a small surface area. Afterward the whole figurine was gilded using genuine 24K gold. The halo, edge of robe and the lotus seat having visible gilding. The body has been hand-painted using acrylic paints. This figure can be used in a variety of Buddhist rituals and meditation exercises. We adonred the deity with valuable gemstones on the halo, robe and lotus seat. The figurine weighs about 12.9 kg and it took years of hard work to complete it.
