Handmade Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture, small Description of Life of Awakened One
One of Buddhism's central narratives is the life of Shakyamuni Buddha, also known as Prince Siddhartha. Prince Siddhartha was born around the year 563 BCE in Lumbini, Nepal, the son of a king, and lived a life of luxury and privilege. However, as he grew older, he became aware of the world's suffering and decided to abandon his royal life in search of enlightenment. This beautiful statue was created in our studio with century-old Nepali sculpting methods by master artists. The statue was sculpted on a copper body and then gilded with genuine 24k gold.

Prince Siddhartha attained enlightenment under the Bodhi Tree in Bodh Gaya, India, after many years of wandering and practicing with various teachers. He established Buddhism's core teachings, the Four Noble Truths, and the Noble Eightfold Path, and his teachings and philosophy spread throughout India, Nepal, and beyond..
