Golden Statue of 4 Armed Chenrezig For Mantra Of Compassion Avalokiteshvara
Our studio's hand-carved Statue of Chenrezig For Mantra Of Compassion Avalokiteshvara is a masterpiece of traditional Himalayan art crafted in Nepal. Avalokiteshvara is one of many names of Deity Chenrezig. The statue's intricate acrylic painting and copper body carving accentuate the deity's importance. It is also coated with a layer of 24k gold, symbolizing the attainment of enlightenment. The statue depicts the deity with four arms, seated on a moon disc lotus, with a peaceful face and two front arms in a namaste gesture, holding a wish-fulfilling gem. The statue took our artist several months to complete due to its complex design patterns.

Chenrezig epitomizes the bodhisattva's determination to delay attaining Buddhahood until he has assisted every sentient being on Earth in achieving freedom from pain and the cycle of death and rebirth. His name has been translated as "the lord who observes in all directions." The practice of Chenrezig/Avalokiteshvara is encouraged to develop a calm and compassionate heart. Compassion is the root foundation for excelling in the Buddhist path. He listens to the prayers of all sentient beings in times of challenge and difficulty.
