The Monju Bosatsu (Manjushri) Statue is a magnificent piece of art intricately carved by skilled artisans in our studio, using design patterns unique to the Kathmandu valley. The statue was created using pure copper, gilded with 24k genuine gold in various body parts, and finely painted with acrylic paint to highlight the facial features of the deity. The statue depicts the deity Manjushri seated on a moon disc lotus seat, holding a sword of knowledge above his head with his right hand and a lotus flower with his left hand. Creating this statue took several months of hard work and dedication from our artists.
