Buddhist Deity Green Tara, Mother Statue.
An artist handcrafted this Mother Green Tara statue. For years, our artists have sculpted Buddhist deities, and it is a sacred art form with important meaning to Buddhist practitioner. This statue is carved on a copper body gilded in 24k gold and took months to complete.
She is seated on a lotus throne with her legs crossed and her right leg outstretched, ready to help with a magnificently crafted Halo behind her serene face. She is adorned with exquisite bodhisattva ornaments and a crown embedded with precious stones and corals holding a stem of blue lotus (utpala). Green Tara's left hand is in the mudra of refuge, while her right-hand attempts a generous gesture.

Green Tara is the manifestation from where all of Tara's other forms emerge, connected with enlightened action and active compassion.
