Handcrafted Namo Shakyamuni Buddha for Meditation and Altars
In our studio, we carved this magnificent statue of Namo Shakyamuni Buddha utilizing a traditional Himalayan carving method that has been handed down from Nepal through the generations. The statue is comprised of oxidized copper, providing it with the elegance of antiquity. It is also partially gilded in gold and silver. In the statue, Shakyamuni Buddha sits atop a moon disc lotus seat with an alms bowl over his lap on his right hand. With his left hand, he makes the "Bhumisparsa Mudra," which symbolizes one of the most significant events in the Buddha's life—the moment the Buddha attained enlightenment and declared the earth to be his witness.
The statue is beautifully painted with acrylic colors, enhancing its beauty. This piece is an excellent souvenir for any devotee like yourself and can be used in your daily practices and activities of meditation and yoga.
