Traditionally Hand-Carved Namo Shakyamuni Buddha Sculpture for Meditation and Ritual
We, Vajrayana artists from Kathmandu Valley, have masterfully hand-carved the Namo Shakyamuni Buddha statue in the traditional Himalayan style. The Buddha can be seen seated atop a moon disc lotus seat while holding an alms bowl in his right hand over his lap. He performs the 'Bhumisparsa mudra,' a gesture significant to the moment Buddha attained enlightenment claiming the earth as his witness, with his left hand. The statue is comprised of oxidized copper and partially gilded in gold, like his serene face that is further enhanced with the gold gilding. The statue is also partially plated in silver and highlighted with acrylic colors.
The statue is perfect for any devotee like yourself and can be used for various Buddhist rituals and activities like meditation and yoga.

Shakyamuni Buddha has spent countless eons engaging in various Bodhisattva acts to achieve enlightenment. He is considered the founder of Buddhism, and most Buddhist schools see him as a savior, the Enlightened One who unearthed an old path to liberate oneself from clinging and craving and break the cycle of birth and rebirth.
