Traditional Tibetan The Buddha Statue For Meditation & Prayers
The exquisite Design On The Buddha Statue was created in our studio. The deity is seen sitting on a lotus seat with a serene facial expression. He is seen carrying an alms bowl with his left hand facing up and setting it on his lap while making the witness gesture, Bhumispara Mudra, with his right hand extended to the ground. We hand-carved elaborate graphic patterns into a copper body to form the figure. We used real 24K gold to gild the god. We used acrylic paints to draw attention to the deity's facial features.
This statue of Buddha has accurate traditional iconography and fine details and will be a perfect gift to a devotee like you from Nepal.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
