Traditionally Hand Crafted Vajrakilaya Yidam Statue with Consort
Vajrakilaya Yidam, also known as Dorje Phurba in Tibetan, is a statue with three heads, six arms, and four legs, as well as his consort Khorlo Gyedunma. In our studio, we hand-carved this complex Vajrakilaya Yidam statue in traditional Himalayan art of Nepal. We are a group of sculpting artists whose skills have been passed down through generations. We portrayed him with his consort. Between his two hands, he wields the mystical phurba dagger, which has three blades and a magical moment. The three blades of the phurba dagger remove one of the three fundamental impediments to spiritual awareness. The three impediments are hatred, sensual desire, and ignorance.

Vajrakilaya (Dorje Phurpa), also known as Vajrakumara (Dorje Zhonu, Youthful Vajra), is the wrathful Heruka deity who embodies the enlightened activity of all the Buddhas. Vajrakilaya is one of the eight Heruka deities of the Nyingma tantras. Vajrakilaya is also the personal meditational deity of Guru Padmasambhava. He practiced meditation on Vajrakilaya when many obstacles manifested before his display of attaining enlightenment.
